I’m starting a web site that will include research commentary on a particular industry, as well as a forum and links to news items of interest. Right now I have a $6.95 hosting plan that includes 350GB storage and 3500 GB/month bandwidth. I have no idea how much traffic this site will get and whether my current plan will be adequate. If I have Google ads on the site, will I always be able to cover my hosting expenses? Are there web hosts that allow you to scale up to a higher plan or a dedicated server, rather than charging for excess traffic? Out of curiosity, how much do you think ultra-popular sites like drudgereport.com or perezhilton.com spend on hosting?

Hello, I am sekking he help of someone who can tell me how to start a web hosting company, I know that I would need a web server, but what I am having a hard time trying to understand is how do I make it so the server knows who paid for 5GB, and gives them thier 5GB, and knows who paid for 25GB, and gives them that?

Also how would I set up a password system so not everyone can change it.
